UKB-SYSTEM TRUMPF “OPTI-V” DIES

Geometry determines the bending result. With the new OPTI-V die, the proven V-die has been specifically further developed. While the effective die opening changes during the bending process with conventional dies, it remains almost constant over a wide angular range with the UKB OPTI-V. This design feature enables shorter minimum leg lengths, reduces surface marks and at the same time increases the load capacity of the die. 

The optimized geometry ensures reproducible bending results, constant inside radii and high repeatability. Thanks to the uniform tool height, different V-openings can be flexibly combined as stations on the press brake. This reduces setup times and increases cost-effectiveness, particularly in series production. The UKB OPTI-V die combines precision and flexibility for consistently high-quality bending results.
